I had the pleasure of doing Nikki and her 2 bridesmaids and mums hair at Downhall in Bishop Stortford on Sunday. Nikki was so lucky and got such a crisp sunny morning, and the atmosphere so was calm and relaxed, just how it should be on your wedding morning! Nikki wanted her bridal hair to be quite relaxed, boho, romantic and that is what she got! Adding a Braid to her hair keeps its very boho, young, fun and fresh. I used a large bun padding from Beautyworks to add volume. I used GHD irons to create a curl and add volume to hair before pinning it up. I use Bed Head shine hairspray which is my favorite at the moment. It is a very fine light spray which gives a good flexible hold with added shine so your wedding hair stays in place from morning to night, and give blonde hair that healthy shine.
For the Mother of the bride we opted for a bouncy blowdry. I used an argan oil for added shine. I always use a large barrel brush to blowdry for volume and bounce. We wanted to pin half of her hair up so it wasnt in her face. I created a weave affect in the back for some added detail. Very chic, modern and sophisticated. I really liked doing this style it just oozed elegance for my Mother of the Bride. I finished with a shine spray from Bed Head to give added shine and gloss. Her hair looked flawless.
With the bridesmaids hair we did a really soft curl which i created with GHD’s. with a little backcombing to create a slight volume on top and pinned one side behind the ear. This gives a very elegant look for their hair.
